Customize WooCommerce administration menu icons
Use Menu icons to give the WooCommerce and Products menus different WordPress Dashicons. Menu labels, links, permissions, and ordering stay the same. This guide is for site administrators using WooCommerce.
Choose the icons
- Open Settings → POM Tweaks → E-Commerce → Advanced.
- Enable Menu icons.
- Enter a Dashicons class in WooCommerce menu icon, such as
dashicons-store. - Enter a class in Products menu icon, such as
dashicons-products. Use the WordPress Dashicons catalog link to find available classes. - Click Save, then reload or open another administration page to see both menu icons.
An empty field uses dashicons-cart. You can paste either dashicons-store or dashicons dashicons-store; the optional base class is normalized when displaying the icon. Use class names from the linked catalog: image URLs and HTML are not supported. Invalid class syntax falls back to the cart icon.
Verify and troubleshoot
Check both menu entries and open their usual destinations. Other menus must keep their own icons, even if they share product-management permissions. The setting applies to the current site's administration, including on multisite; it does not customize Network Admin.
If an icon is blank, check its spelling against the catalog and reload the page. A syntactically valid but nonexistent Dashicons class has no glyph. If a menu is missing, confirm that WooCommerce is active and the current user can access it; this control does not create menus or grant permissions. Another plugin or custom administration stylesheet can override icon presentation.
Restore the original icons
Disable Menu icons, save, and reload the administration page. WordPress and WooCommerce supply their usual icons again. Your two configured class names are retained for future use.
