Add descriptions and logos to shipping rates

Store managers can give each shipping method instance its own description and logo. First create the methods under WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping zones. Two flat-rate methods, including methods in different zones, are separate instances.

  1. Open Settings → POM Tweaks → E-Commerce → Shipping.
  2. Enable Shipping method details.
  3. In Shipping method details, click Add new and choose a Shipping method instance. The choice includes the zone, method title and instance identifier.
  4. Enter a plain-text Description and, optionally, an HTTP or HTTPS Logo URL.
  5. Add separate rows for other instances and click Save.
  6. Open a cart or checkout with a destination covered by the selected zone. Verify each available rate displays its own content.

Descriptions appear below classic shipping choices and through WooCommerce's native shipping description in supported Cart and Checkout blocks. Logos appear in classic cart and checkout templates that call WooCommerce's shipping-rate hook. Blocks do not display the custom logo.

The first row for an instance wins. Remove duplicate rows to avoid ambiguity. An unavailable instance remains identifiable in the editor; it has no effect until that shipping method is available again. A newly recreated method has a new instance identifier and needs its own row.

Edit these descriptions and logos here. Shipping zones, method titles, costs, tax settings and availability remain in WooCommerce. This tweak does not create methods or make an unavailable rate eligible. Existing cart sessions recalculate after the details change.

If content is missing, verify the destination, exact instance, enabled state and template support. Empty content produces no extra wrapper. Disable the tweak and save to stop displaying its details while keeping the saved rows.
