Offer products as a pack

Use Settings → POM Tweaks → E-Commerce → Promotions → Frequently bought together to offer a group of products with optional discounts. WooCommerce must be active, and your account must be allowed to edit the source product.

  1. Enable Frequently bought together and click Save.
  2. Open the product that will display the offer in Products → All Products.
  3. In Product data → Frequently bought together, search Pack products for simple products or specific variations.
  4. Set Quantity per pack and choose Pricing for each row: No discount, Percentage discount, or Fixed unit price. Enter the percentage or unit price in Value when applicable.
  5. Drag the row handle to change the presentation order. Add an optional Heading and Description, then update the product.
  6. View the product page, choose the number of Packs, and click Add pack to cart.

The pack contains exactly the configured rows. The source product is included only if you add it as a row; for a variable product, select a specific variation. A product can appear only once in the configuration, with its required quantity. Whole variable products and product types requiring their own configuration are not pack items.

Quantities range from 1 to 999 per row, and shoppers can add 1 to 100 packs at a time. Percentage discounts range from 0 to 100. A fixed unit price cannot raise the product's current price. Stock, backorders, individual-sale restrictions and WooCommerce purchase validation still apply; an unavailable item prevents the complete pack from being added.

Pack prices are recorded when the pack is added. The discount requires the complete set of lines and quantities. Individual pack quantities cannot be edited in classic or block carts: remove the pack and add it again with the desired number of packs. Removing any pack line removes its companion lines. A separately purchased copy of the same product keeps its normal price. Orders identify the source pack on each corresponding item.

POM Theme displays the offer on the product page through the standard WooCommerce product summary hook. Other compatible classic product templates can display it too. Templates that omit that hook, including a custom block-only product layout, need to provide a compatible product display area.

Existing product pack definitions remain available when the module is enabled. Disabling it hides the editor and storefront behavior without deleting those definitions. Check active carts before changing availability or discounts; remove and re-add a pack to obtain its current configuration.

Verify and troubleshoot

Check the product page's quantities, individual prices, original total and discounted total. Add a pack and confirm those quantities and prices in the cart. Remove one pack line and verify the full pack is removed. Repeat with a variation if your offer uses one.

If an offer is missing, check that the module is enabled, the product has saved rows, and every item exists, is purchasable and is in stock. Select a concrete variation rather than its variable parent. Password-protected source products require access before the pack is available.
