Replace WordPress naming in administration

This control is now available in the modern interface. You need permission to manage the site's settings.

1. Open Settings → POM Tweaks → White labelling → Branding.
2. Enable WordPress display name and click Save.
3. Enter plain text in Display name and save again. Empty text preserves WordPress. Translated administration text changes; links, HTML attributes, public pages, and stored content keep their original values.
4. Inspect several translated administration labels and check that support links still work.

The setting applies to site administration, not public pages or Network Admin. To undo it, clear WordPress display name, save, and reload the affected screen. Other controls remain independent.
