Change the WordPress sender name

The sender name is configured in the combined Email sender module. Its two overrides work independently.

Configure the override

  1. Open Settings → POM Tweaks → White labelling → Email sender.
  2. Enable the Email sender module and initialize it if prompted.
  3. Enable Use a custom sender name.
  4. Enter Sender name and save.
  5. Generate a non-sensitive notification to a mailbox you control and inspect its From identity.

An empty value keeps the existing sender name. Delivery plugins and providers may apply their own identity later. The module does not configure SMTP or change Reply-To, recipients, or message content.

Disable the individual switch to stop this override while preserving the other sender setting. For prerequisites, validation, compatibility, and troubleshooting, read Set the WordPress email sender.
