Choose content for llms.txt
Curate the file for orientation, not completeness. A normal business site usually needs roughly 20–80 high-value links; the interface permits up to 100 custom resources.
Write the introduction
Under Settings → POM Tweaks → SEO & LLMs → LLMs.txt:
- Set Site name for the only H1.
- Write a short Brief site description for the blockquote.
- Add Context and instructions such as audience, language, regional scope, or source priority.
- Set Last reviewed date when a human checks the selection.
- Name the Essential section title.
- Include the homepage and give it a useful title and description.
Do not put private instructions, credentials, unpublished plans, or claims that are absent from the linked pages into the context.
Add custom resources
Use Custom curated resources for important absolute HTTP or HTTPS URLs that are not represented by selectable WordPress content. Each resource has a section title, link title, URL, brief description, and optional status.
Items marked Place this resource in Optional always move to ## Optional, regardless of their entered section title.
Select WordPress entries
For each eligible public post type:
- search for individual published entries;
- select only representative, current items;
- enable Include selected … entries;
- set the section title;
- optionally include the public archive and describe it.
The selector searches on demand with a bounded result set. It does not bulk-include a post type. Removing the final selected item does not erase the section settings, but no individual entry can appear without a saved selection.
Select taxonomy hubs
Choose non-empty public terms only when the archive helps a reader navigate meaningful content. Enable the taxonomy group, set its section title, and select the exact terms. Avoid tags or filters with little explanatory value.
Keep exhaustive discovery optional
Enable Include the XML sitemap and verify XML sitemap URL. The sitemap belongs under ## Optional; it should not be copied into the curated sections.
Exclude cart, checkout, account, internal search, pagination, redirects, duplicates, thin archives, private content, and unstable campaign URLs. Then use the validation checklist.
