Insert content at classic mini-cart hooks
Mini-cart page hooks adds translated HTML and shortcode output to seven PHP hooks in the classic WooCommerce mini-cart/widget template.
Configure it under Settings → POM Tweaks → E-Commerce → Cart & checkout → Mini-cart page hooks.
Configure one field
- Confirm the site renders the classic mini-cart or cart widget.
- Enter content in the intended hook field.
- Save and open a page where the mini-cart is present.
- Add and remove products to trigger fragment refreshes.
- Test empty and populated states.
- Confirm focus, links, and buttons remain usable.
Content is emitted at priority 15 after translation and shortcode processing. Empty fields add no output callback.
Reopen the editor after saving to confirm it shows the intended HTML or shortcode. If saved content is unavailable, that placement adds nothing; enter the content and save again to restore it.
Compatibility boundary
The WooCommerce Mini-Cart Block is not the classic widget template and does not expose these seven PHP positions. Use a block-compatible extension for block markup.
Shortcodes can perform arbitrary work belonging to their provider. Avoid expensive remote requests in a mini-cart because the fragment can refresh repeatedly during a shopping session.
