Generate WooCommerce PDF catalogs

PDF catalog builds downloadable product catalogs from published WooCommerce products and their category hierarchy. It supports reusable product feed templates, manually defined catalogs, and optional automatic generation of one catalog per product category.

For a one-off download, Generate ephemeral catalog lets you search for products, arrange their order, and download a PDF using the automatic category catalog template and layout. The catalog is not retained on the server. See Download an ephemeral catalog.

Enable it under Settings → POM Tweaks → E-Commerce → Products → PDF catalog. Users allowed to edit products can then open Products → PDF catalog to generate and download files.

Configuration model

Build the feature in this order:

1. Set shared header, footer, and table-of-contents presentation.
2. Create at least one Feed template with product HTML and optional CSS.
3. Define one or more Manual catalogs, or enable automatic category catalogs.
4. Save and resolve any missing-template or empty-category selection.
5. Open Products → PDF catalog.
6. Click Regenerate catalogs.
7. Wait until the complete run is published.
8. Download and review every listed PDF.

Generation uses a lock so a second run cannot start while the first is active. New output is published as a completed set; an unfinished run should not be treated as the latest catalog collection.

1. Choose products and category structure.
2. Design feed templates and document presentation.
3. Generate, download, and verify catalogs.

Disabling removes generation and download administration. Previously distributed PDFs remain outside the plugin’s control and generated output already published is not recalled.
