Hide product tabs and options
Use Product tabs and options to simplify WooCommerce product editing and hide selected storefront details. WooCommerce must be active. The editor controls apply to the classic WooCommerce product editor; they do not restrict REST API access or remove stored product data.
Configure the controls
- Open Settings → POM Tweaks → E-Commerce → Advanced.
- Enable Product tabs and options.
- Select the controls you need. Every option is independent and starts unchecked.
- Click Save and reload the affected product editor and storefront page.

| Hide the product reviews tab | Removes the standard storefront reviews tab. Existing reviews, ratings and review permissions remain unchanged. |
| Hide Inventory and SKU fields | Hides the Inventory panel, variation stock status and standard SKU fields/output. Stock calculations still work. |
| Hide Shipping, weight and dimensions | Hides the Shipping panel, variation shipping classes, and standard weight/dimension fields/output. Shipping calculations still work. |
| Hide Linked Products | Hides the panel for upsells and cross-sells. Existing relationships remain active. |
| Hide Attributes | Hides the Attributes panel without removing attributes. |
| Hide Variations | Hides the Variations panel without removing variations. |

| Hide Grouped product type | Removes Grouped from product type choices. |

An existing product always retains its current product type in the selector. For example, a variable product remains variable when you save it even when Hide Variable product type is selected. A simple product does not offer Variable in that case.
Verify and reverse
Open a simple product and a variable product. Check the selected panels and expand an existing variation: stock status and shipping class visibility must follow your choices immediately, including variations loaded after opening the editor. Other variation fields, including tax class, remain available.
Visit a product with reviews and check its standard tabs. Removing the reviews tab does not disable reviews everywhere; a theme or separate reviews block can display them independently.
Clear individual controls or disable Product tabs and options, save, and reload to restore the standard controls. If a panel is still hidden, review other plugins and theme customizations. These are presentation controls, not an authorization policy.
