Combine booking enhancements

Use this workflow to combine WooCommerce Bookings, the optional availability finder and POM Tweaks booking controls. WooCommerce and WooCommerce Bookings must be active.

Configure the booking product first

Set its native duration, availability, resources, capacity, persons and base costs. Confirm that a customer can choose an available date and complete a normal booking before adding enhancements.

Configure the booking journey

1. Open Settings → POM Tweaks → E-Commerce → Products and enable WooCommerce Bookings.
2. Enable only the individual features required by the service. The Bookings guide explains all six switches.
3. Add discounts, extra time choices or token settings under Products → All Products → Edit → Product data → POM Bookings.
4. Verify the customer form, cart price and resulting order.

The largest eligible early bird discount applies once. Extra time adds a per-person charge and records minutes; it does not extend the reservation's blocked time. Token payments require a signed-in customer and sufficient balance.

Add an optional availability search page

Enable Enhanced availability finder separately in the same settings tab. Save the bookable products, allow Action Scheduler to build their availability index and publish [pomatio_tweaks_wc_availability_search] on the intended page.

The finder helps customers discover products. The native product form and checkout remain authoritative and recheck availability. See the finder guide.

Verify the complete journey

1. Select an available day and change its resource or person count.
2. Check dates immediately inside and outside each discount threshold.
3. Add extra time, reload the cart and confirm the charge does not increase.
4. Verify a money payment and a token payment with sufficient and insufficient balances.
5. Confirm a paid top-up is credited once and a cancelled token reservation restores its balance.
6. Check order details, emails, taxes, coupons and the booking confirmation label.
7. Create a competing reservation and confirm the selected date no longer permits a booking beyond capacity.

Disabling the availability finder leaves the product controls independent. Resolve orders with pending token movements before disabling token processing. Existing product rules and customer balances remain stored when the module is disabled.
