Display a shop notice

Use Shop notice to display a title and optional subtitle on WooCommerce shop, product taxonomy and individual product pages. WooCommerce must be active. Cart, checkout, account and ordinary WordPress pages are excluded. The notice does not block purchases or put the store into maintenance mode.

Configure the notice

  1. Open Settings → POM Tweaks → E-Commerce → General.
  2. Enable Shop notice.
  3. Enter Title and Subtitle. Both accept plain text or safe HTML, including links and emphasis. Scripts and unsafe markup are removed. Shortcodes are not executed.
  4. Optionally set Background color and Text color using the color pickers. Choose colors with enough contrast; empty values inherit your theme styles.
  5. Click Save.

The notice renders once inside the page. Themes using the standard body-opening hook show it near the start of the body. Other classic WooCommerce themes show it before the main shop content. A theme that provides neither position can display it at its footer. Its exact position and typography depend on the theme.

Verify and reverse

Open the shop, a product category and a single product. Confirm the copy, formatting and colors, including at a narrow screen width. Then open an ordinary page, cart or checkout and confirm that the notice is absent.

If nothing appears, check that the module is enabled, at least one content field is filled, the page is a supported WooCommerce page, and you are viewing an uncached response. A custom store template must use the normal WordPress or WooCommerce template hooks.

Disable Shop notice and save to stop displaying it while retaining the copy for later reuse. Clearing both title and subtitle also produces no notice.
