Collect safe information for support
Reproduce one issue and provide the smallest dataset that distinguishes its layer.
Useful information
- POM Translate, WordPress, PHP, and relevant WooCommerce or SEO plugin versions;
- single-site or multisite, plus whether the affected site is the main site or a subsite;
- base and target locale codes;
- sanitized base and target paths;
- affected object type and ID;
- expected result and actual result;
- whether the source string, target translation, and localized slug exist;
- translation workflow status;
- exact visible public error code or message;
- cache layers and whether a cache bypass changes the result;
- reproducible numbered steps;
- whether the problem also occurs with a standard theme or without the specific integration.
For background work, include processed, queued, pending, and retry state shown by the interface, but not the translated customer content itself.
Never include
- license keys or signed authentication headers;
- API/provider credentials, nonces, cookies, or session tokens;
- full database dumps or raw translation-table exports;
- customer names, addresses, orders, emails, private notes, or unpublished content;
- server paths, stack traces, or logs containing secrets;
- unredacted screenshots of account or checkout data.
Replace domains and content only when doing so does not remove the routing or placeholder detail needed to reproduce the issue. Retain the original evidence privately under the site's own access and retention policy.
