Register translatable data

Registration tells POM Translate which stable public values belong in its translation workflow. Choose the contract that matches the source:

• static strings;
• dynamic strings;
• custom fields;
• shortcode attributes;
• structured content;
• public settings.

Use stable identifiers and understand domain and context boundaries. Source changes and retirement require deliberate handling because existing translations are attached to registered or extracted source identities.

Registration is not translation. It makes a value discoverable; editors or the configured machine-translation workflow still provide target values.
