Register dynamic public strings safely

Register a database-backed value only when it is stable, public, and owned by the integration. Perform registration when that setting or object is saved, not on every visitor request.

$name = 'acme.location.' . $location_id . '.public_note';
pom_translate_register_string( $name, $public_note );

Use a durable object identity and field name. Re-register the same name after the source changes so the registry reflects current wording.

Do not register customer names, form submissions, order notes, session values, timestamps, generated numbers, or unbounded remote content. Those values create uncontrolled storage and can expose personal data to translation workflows.

For normal post, term, menu, or mapped metadata values, use extraction instead of duplicating them as registered strings.
