country_label_english: the country name in English
{%country_label_english%} displays the English country name from the locale definition.
Fallback chain
When no English country name is defined, POM Translate uses local_country. If the locale definition has neither value, the result is empty.
This means a nominally English template can contain local-language country wording for a custom or incomplete definition. Review the actual output rather than assuming the tag always produces English.
Add it to a language label
Use the country as supporting information:
{%label_english%} — {%country_label_english%}
Do not use a country name as the only language label. Countries can have several languages, and languages can span several countries.
Avoid orphaned punctuation
POM Translate replaces an unavailable tag with an empty string, not the surrounding separator. A dash or parentheses therefore remain when the country name is missing. Merge-tag templates do not provide conditional blocks.
Check every enabled locale before publishing this pattern. If the country values are incomplete, use the English or local language name alone, or define explicit custom_label values for all variants.
