Work with URL translations
Open Translations → Translate URLs to manage localized destinations. URL values use dedicated editors rather than the generic content-string table.
Content URLs
The Content URLs subtab edits localized slugs for a selected post or term. Choose the object type, load the object, and review its values across the available locales before saving.
This editor changes the path component associated with that content. It does not translate the post title or body and is not processed as prose by the pending-string generator.
Custom links
The Custom links subtab stores destination mappings for one selected additional language. Use it for supported custom URLs whose targets cannot be derived from a post or term slug.
Review complete destinations carefully. A translated label and a translated URL are separate values; changing one does not update the other.
Verify routing
After saving:
- open the localized URL directly;
- confirm it resolves without a redirect loop or 404;
- follow the corresponding navigation or content link;
- check canonical and alternate-language output;
- refresh rewrite rules through the supported settings workflow if routing configuration changed.
