Let POM AI manage service authorization

POM Translate uses the POM AI license connected to the current site. Developers do not need to build an authentication form, expose a service secret to JavaScript, or attach credentials to translated content.

For a supported installation:

  1. Connect the POM AI license through the product settings.
  2. Authorize the public hostname used by the WordPress site.
  3. Run one small translation from the administration area.
  4. Confirm the candidate translation is stored for the intended locale.

On multisite, configure and verify the license in the management scope used by the relevant subsite. Do not assume that another site's license or domain authorization applies automatically.

Treat license values as secrets. Never place them in documentation, screenshots, browser code, source strings, logs, or support messages. A developer integration should check for normal WordPress errors and show a safe administrator-facing message, not expose service details.

If authorization fails, follow Resolve credits or authorization errors.
