Translate a registered string

pom_translate__( $source ) returns a registered string in the current locale. pom_translate_translate_string( $source, $locale ) requests a specific locale.

pom_translate_translate_registered_string() differs by refusing to auto-register an unknown source. Use it for REST, AJAX, or read-only integrations where unexpected payload text must not create storage rows.

$label = pom_translate_translate_registered_string( 'Continue', 'es_ES' );
echo esc_html( $label );

All helpers return the supplied source when no entry or translation exists. pom_translate_e() echoes directly for backward compatibility; prefer the returning variants so the final output context can be escaped explicitly.

For repeated labels, POM Translate primes registered translations per locale to avoid one lookup per call. An integration should still avoid registering or translating hundreds of dynamic values in a template loop.
