Generate and review long-form sections
After planning, the long-form post builder writes one section per request and reconstructs the WordPress draft from the saved completed blocks. This keeps progress recoverable without duplicating content after a retry.

How section generation works
Each request receives the section brief, original article instructions, writing style, applicable business profile context, optional saved research and compact continuity information from completed sections. The returned structured block contains the section heading and HTML content.
The workflow then:
- validates that the response belongs to the expected article and section;
- saves the completed block in the post's generation state;
- rebuilds the draft content in plan order;
- advances the progress panel to the next section.
The continuity summaries help later sections follow the article rather than acting as isolated essays. You should still review transitions and repetition in the assembled result.
Images after the text
When automatic images are enabled, Number of images tells the plan how many image slots to place across suitable sections, up to six and with no more than one per section. After all text sections are complete, the workflow generates each image separately through the POM AI image service, imports it into the Media Library and replaces its saved slot with a WordPress image block.
The generated media title, alternative text and caption come from the structured image brief. Review them for accuracy and accessibility. A decorative image may need an empty alternative text, while an informative image needs text that communicates its purpose.
If image generation fails, the finished article text remains safe. Retry failed step continues with that image instead of rewriting paid sections.
SEO and publication are final stages
With Yoast SEO or Rank Math active, SEO generation starts only after the content and images are complete. The service validates and stores the SEO title, meta description and focus keywords in the active provider's metadata.
Publication settings are applied last. A scheduled post therefore never enters WordPress's future-publication queue with unfinished content. Choose a date at least five minutes ahead. If the selected time has passed by then, the completed post is published immediately. Future publication depends on WP-Cron, or an equivalent server cron runner, processing the due event.
Pause and resume safely
Every remote operation is followed by a saved checkpoint. You can close or reload the page and later use Resume generation. The next request starts from the first incomplete section, image, SEO stage or publication action.
If the screen reports a failed step:
- read the displayed error;
- check connectivity, license status and available credits;
- select Retry failed step;
- avoid starting a duplicate article from another tab.
Completed stages remain charged because their results remain in the draft. A retried stage uses the same stable operation identity so an already accepted response is not deliberately charged or appended again.
Review the finished article
Use Open the post editor and review in this order:
- Read the complete argument without editing and note repetition or missing transitions.
- Replace the working title if it is not a strong headline.
- Tighten the introduction and remove generic scene-setting.
- Verify figures, dates, prices, names, standards, quotations and links.
- Check the heading hierarchy and section order.
- Review generated images, captions, alternative text and relevance.
- Inspect the SEO fields written to Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
- Add first-hand examples, data, caveats and opinion.
- Confirm the draft or scheduled publication state is correct.

Improve an individual section
Inside the editor, select a weak passage and use the paragraph assistant to rewrite, expand or shorten it. This preserves the rest of the completed article and is normally more efficient than generating a new long-form post.
