Tour the POM AI interface
POM AI does not add a top-level menu. Each tool appears next to the WordPress content it works on: writing tools under Posts and Pages, image tools under Media, translation under Languages. Only configuration lives in one place.
Settings → POM AI
This is the single configuration screen. It has five tabs.

AI Setup
Holds Your business short description and the ten-section structured business profile. Every field is translatable. POM AI recommends Markdown for readable long-form context and provides Download the example Markdown and ChatGPT prompt, which helps you prepare all sections before copying them into the form. POM AI selects the profile sections relevant to each writing, image or context-aware translation tool.
AI Tools
Each entry shows a title, a description and a single enable checkbox. Ticking a box makes the tool's own screen appear in the WordPress menu on the next page load; clearing it removes the screen again. The tools are listed in What POM AI is.
Prompt templates
A saved template has a title, prompt text of up to 4,000 characters and one or more contexts that decide where it can be offered:
- Post writer
- Texts generator
- Landing generator
- Full texts copywriting
- Image generator
- Image improver
The character counter below the textarea shows the remaining allowance and blocks submission when the prompt is too long. Templates appear as a dropdown labelled Select template to append to prompt textarea on the tools whose context matches. Some contexts overlap deliberately: a template saved for Texts generator is also offered in the post writer and full-texts tools.
The Landing generator context is retained for existing templates, but no active tool currently consumes it.
License
Shows the masked license key, the validation status, plan, expiry and authorized domain, plus the credit balance held by the license owner's account. Its buttons are Save and validate (or Replace and validate once a key exists), Revalidate and Unlink.
MCP server
Only relevant when POM AI MCP is enabled. It configures the server label and public description, which authentication methods are accepted, four separate write gates (content, options, POM Theme, WooCommerce catalog), log retention, a read rate limit, the service user and allowed CORS origins. Tool screens in the WordPress menu
Once enabled, each tool appears here:

The AI in visual editor tool has no menu entry. It adds a button above the visual editor on post and page edit screens, next to the media button, and opens a small dialog for writing or improving the selected text block.
Languages is Polylang's menu. If Polylang is not active, the translation entry does not exist at all.
The dashboard panel
Dashboard → Home shows a POM AI panel to any user who can edit posts. It contains:
- a status chip reading API connected or API missing;
- Enabled modules, with a count and a thumbnail for each active tool;
- Status, with the license state and a Credits row that has its own Refresh button;
- Short description and Business profile, showing the stored business context.
Administrators also see Manage AI Settings and Manage POM AI account buttons. The second opens the POM AI area of account.pom.es in a new tab.
The panel is a read-only summary except for Refresh, which re-reads the account balance and stores the new value locally.
Controls that appear inside tools
Two controls are shared by several tools rather than belonging to one screen:
- Prompt template selector — a dropdown that appends a saved template to the prompt field. When no template matches the current context, the tool shows an explanatory message instead of an empty dropdown.
- Dictate prompt — a microphone button with a live status line and the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+. It records up to three minutes of audio, transcribes it and appends the text to the prompt field. See Dictation and transcription.
Neither control submits the tool's own request; both only fill the prompt field. Dictation does consume credits of its own, unlike the template selector.
