Generate copy for a complete website

Use Pages → AI texts generator to plan and draft a new website or a redesign. You need permission to create WordPress pages (edit_pages). The tool creates new drafts only: it does not replace existing pages, publish content, configure menus or change your home page.

Prepare the project

1. Complete your business profile in Settings → POM AI. The writing context is copied into the project when it starts, so later settings changes do not unexpectedly alter a run.
2. Enter Additional instructions. Markdown headings and lists work well for positioning, requirements, factual constraints and reference copy. The allowance is 100,000 characters, in addition to the relevant saved business profile.
3. Choose Generation quality:
   • Standard balances speed and cost.
   • Pro adds reasoning for demanding messaging and structure.
   • Pro + internet researches current information and supplied URLs once, then uses that research for the plan and all pages. Research sources appear on the screen for review.
4. Select the page types: Home, About, Services, a single service, Products, a single product, Contact, meeting booking, Projects or a single project.
5. Use Estimate planning to review the planning credit estimate before confirming, or Generate page plan to start directly.

For Pro + internet, the planning estimate includes both research and the subsequent plan, with a conservative allowance for the research context. Other profiles begin with planning. Page writing is estimated separately after you review the plan. Longer briefs, research and larger pages increase processing time and credits.

The selected profile, language, instructions and business context remain fixed for this project. Use Start over from scratch if these inputs need to change.

Edit and save the plan

The plan contains 1–30 pages. Each page has:

• A title or page type, up to 200 characters.
• A description, up to 10,000 characters, explaining its purpose, audience, sections, facts and call to action.
• A desired approximate word count of 100–2,000 words.

Edit the fields, drag page cards to reorder them, use Add New Page, or remove unwanted entries. Each page should have a different purpose: the home page introduces the business, the services overview helps visitors choose, and an individual service page answers specific buying questions.

Choose Short and direct, Formal or For children for the writing style. Your saved brand guidance takes precedence over generic style examples.

Short and direct favors clear wording, concrete benefits and useful next steps. It still follows each page's requested length and purpose. Humor and wordplay are optional: add explicit instructions such as “no humor” or “use a formal voice” when the piece needs them. Specific instructions adjust generic style defaults; factual claims still need review.

Click Save plan before leaving. The screen warns about unsaved edits. Saving and editing the plan do not consume AI credits. Estimate all pages also saves the current plan and shows a combined estimate before asking whether to start.

Create the draft pages

Click Create draft pages, or confirm Estimate all pages. Once generation starts, the plan is locked so that retrying a page always uses the same inputs.

Pages are generated sequentially. Progress shows completed and pending pages, credits used, and an Open draft link for each created page. A page is marked complete only after its content has been saved.

When POM Page builder's row and text shortcodes are available, the copy is placed in a simple row and text block. Otherwise, it is saved as ordinary HTML. This is a copywriting tool: it does not build forms, generate images or configure a full visual website.

Pause, leave and resume

Use Pause after this step to finish the request already in progress and stop before starting another. That in-flight request may still consume credits.

You can close the screen and return later. The latest project is saved separately for each user and each site. Click Resume generation to continue pending steps; returning to the screen does not automatically start paid requests.

After a connection error, reload the screen before retrying. Completed pages stay saved, and the same confirmed provider result can be recovered without purchasing it again. There is no need to generate a second project.

Do not manually edit or publish a pending draft while its generation is running. If the draft has changed, the tool stops rather than overwriting it. Completed drafts are never rewritten by resuming the project.

Start over from scratch clears the current project workspace after confirmation. It keeps every generated WordPress draft. Review those drafts before starting another run to avoid creating intentionally duplicated pages.

Review before publishing

1. Open each draft and read the pages as a set. Remove repetitive introductions and make sure every page has a distinct job.
2. Verify services, contact details, opening hours, history, prices, awards and other factual claims.
3. Replace any missing-information markers such as [Confirm: detail].
4. Replace CTA links pointing to # with the correct destinations.
5. Set page titles, slugs, SEO metadata, navigation and design deliberately.
6. Publish manually only after reviewing the complete result.

Research is supporting material, not proof that every generated claim is correct. Competitor information must not be presented as a fact about your business. Word counts are approximate, not an exact-length guarantee.

Troubleshooting

• No permission: ask an administrator for permission to create pages.
• A step is still running: wait for the current request to finish before resuming from another tab.
• Insufficient credits: replenish the balance or review the site's credit limit, then resume the same project.
• The pending draft changed: restore that draft to its expected editable draft state before continuing. The tool will not erase manual copy to recover automatically.
• The project changed: reload; another tab may have saved or reset it.
• The provider is unavailable: keep the saved project and resume later.
