Settings
Fenómenus keeps its configuration on one screen: Settings → Restaurant settings. Three tabs divide it by what the settings do.
The three tabs
| Tab | Subsections | What it configures |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurant setup | Basic setup · Restaurant settings · Fenómenus subscription | The restaurant's identity, setup assistant, and subscription link |
| Content settings | Content types · Content settings · Allergens | Which menus exist, how they look, and allergen data |
| Enabled tools | Enabled advanced tools | Which optional features exist |
Access requires permission to edit posts. Accounts with the Basic profile cannot reach this screen at all, because the whole Settings menu is removed for them.

How saving works
Each screen has its own save action, and it applies only to that screen:
- Restaurant settings — Save Settings.
- Content settings — Save Settings.
- Allergens — Save Allergens.
- Content types — the enable control acts immediately.
- Enabled tools — the framework's own save.
- Fenómenus subscription — a one-time activation action; after linking it is read-only.
Moving to another tab without saving discards what you typed. Save before navigating.
Settings that live elsewhere
Not everything is on this screen:
| Setting | Where |
|---|---|
| The palette and the button styles | The setup assistant, step 3 |
| A menu type's public layout | Chosen when the type is enabled |
| The home page template | The setup assistant, step 4 |
| PDF designs and generated files | The top-level PDF designs library and editor |
| Which items are featured | The items themselves |
| The Basic profile for a user | The user's profile under Users |
Three settings worth getting right early
- Featured term name — the words guests read on a featured dish.
- Contact dock links, per menu type — how guests move between menus. A newly enabled menu is not linked from anywhere until you tick it here.
- Which content types carry allergens — a menu type that is not ticked has no allergen panel and no filter.
