Configure the floating contact dock
The contact dock presents persistent contact choices in a floating interface. Use it when visitors need immediate access to a small set of clear actions; use ordinary page content for detailed contact information.
Configure the dock copy
Open Settings → POM Theme → Site layout → Floating contact dock → Contact floating dock.
Set the text required by the chosen presentation:
- Toggle floating badge text
- Enable prewindow message
- Prewindow text
- Prewindow button label
- Header title
- Header subtitle
- Under header text
- After options text
Keep the opening copy brief. The visitor should understand what happens before selecting an option.
Add contact options
In Contact options, add one entry for each route. An entry can include a profile image, agent name, position, and icon.
Choose On click according to the destination:

Use Available? to control whether the entry is offered and Custom CSS class (optional) only when the site’s supported styling requires it.
Style the interface
Select the Contact widget toggle icon, then configure the badge, icon, header, and text palettes. Check contrast in both the closed badge and the open panel; they appear over different page backgrounds.
Verify every route
- Open the dock on desktop and mobile.
- Confirm the prewindow behavior and all visible copy.
- Activate each available option.
- Verify links, targets, AJAX windows, modal IDs, reusable blocks, or custom content as applicable.
- Confirm unavailable entries are not offered.
- Test keyboard operation and visible focus.
- Review the dock alongside the footer’s go-to-top and secondary floating icons.
If a modal does not open, confirm the ID is entered without the leading #. If a reusable block is empty, edit the selected block rather than the dock option.
