Troubleshoot the published page
Use this guide when Page Builder saves but the preview or public page is missing content, has an incorrect layout, or behaves unexpectedly.
The public page shows older content
- Confirm that the post action completed successfully.
- Reload the permalink in a private browser window.
- Confirm that you edited the correct site and page.
- Clear the active page cache when your site uses one.
- Compare the latest WordPress revision with the intended content.
Do not repeatedly resave the page until you know which layer is stale.
A component is missing at one width
Inspect Device visibility on the component, its column, and its row. A hidden parent hides every child. Test the exact width against the four documented ranges and reload the saved public page.
Columns stack or crop incorrectly
Check the row layout, column source order, spacing, minimum-height choices, and desktop/mobile background images. Remove unnecessary local overrides before adding new ones.

A duplicated interaction controls the original
Review manually entered IDs, anchors, target IDs, and selectors on both copies. Give each independent target a unique ID and update its trigger to match.
Raw HTML affects later sections
Remove the most recent Raw HTML change and preview again. Check for unclosed tags, duplicate IDs, invalid nesting, global scripts or styles, and interactive elements nested inside another interactive control.
A map is blank
Confirm that the site has a restricted Google Maps browser key, the required API is enabled, and the Advanced map contains valid marker coordinates or a valid custom center. Continue with Add an Advanced map.
Undo no longer restores the change
Builder undo and redo belong to the current editor session. After saving or leaving the screen, use an available WordPress revision or restore the content from a backup.
Requesting support
Provide the public URL, affected viewport width, component name, expected result, actual result, signed-out test result, last relevant change, and screenshots of both canvas and frontend. Never include API keys or private visitor data.
