Add, move, duplicate, and delete content

Use these operations to change page structure without editing shortcode markup. Complete one structural change at a time so its effect is easy to verify.

Add

Use Add new element for a new top-level structure. Inside an existing column, use Append to this column or Prepend to this column.

1. Open the add control at the intended location.
2. Search for the component by its visible name.
3. Select it and complete the required settings.
4. Save the dialog.
5. Confirm that it appears under the correct parent.

Move

Drag a row with Drag row to reorder. Drag a component by its move control.

Before releasing:

• make sure the destination is a valid parent;
• wait for the destination highlight;
• check whether you are moving the whole container or only one child.

After moving, read the canvas order and preview the mobile stacking order.

Duplicate

Use Clone this row or the component clone control when the new content should begin with the same configuration.

Immediately review the copy:

• replace its text, images, links, and query selections;
• check visibility and animation settings;
• replace manually entered Element ID, anchors, target IDs, or selectors;
• confirm that embedded forms or interactive targets point to the intended item.

Cloning is a starting point, not synchronized reuse. For content that must update everywhere from one source, use Reusable blocks.

Delete

Deleting a container also deletes its children. Before selecting Delete this row or Delete this column:

1. expand the container;
2. confirm every child is disposable;
3. save a WordPress revision or duplicate valuable content when recovery may be needed;
4. delete and preview the surrounding sections.

Completion check

Update the post only after confirming the new source order, links, manual IDs, responsive layout, and public output.
