Choose reuse based on whether later edits should remain independent or synchronized.

Duplicate for an independent variation

Clone a row or component when the copy will become separate content. Changes to one copy do not update the other.

This suits repeated card layouts whose text, image, link, and visibility will differ.

Use a Reusable block for synchronized content

POM registers Reusable blocks as editable content with a title and Page Builder content. A reusable block is suitable for a section that should be authored once and inserted where supported.

1. From the WordPress content list, open the Reusable blocks view.
2. Select Add New.
3. Give the block a descriptive title.
4. Build and publish its content.
5. Return to the destination page.
6. Add Dynamic content.
7. Set Content type to Other post content.
8. Under Select page to append, choose the published reusable block.
9. Save the component and update the page.

The Backend Editor can show a preview of linked reusable content and an edit link when you are allowed to edit its source.

Translate shared content

With POM Translate, manage translations on the selected reusable block itself. Reusable content before the header, after the footer, inside full-screen navigation, in the floating contact dock, and in custom My Account tabs uses the selected source's translations for the visitor's language.

After translating a shared block, open a translated page that includes it. Confirm that the shared section displays its own content and that the page body appears only in its intended position. Also check the base-language page and a second page that uses the same block.

Avoid circular or unclear reuse

Do not place a reusable block inside itself. Keep each source focused on one recognizable section, and name it by purpose and audience rather than page position.

Before editing a shared source, identify every page that depends on it. A synchronized correction is useful; an unexpected site-wide content change is not.

After updating a reusable block, open at least two consuming public pages while signed out. Confirm context, spacing, links, responsive behavior, and any visibility applied by the destination.
