Partner notification emails
What Pomatio sends you about your commissions, and in which language.
When you hear from Pomatio
Partner notifications are sent for the events Pomatio has configured — commission activity and payment-request confirmations among them. The payment-request confirmation is the one you will see most: it acknowledges what you claimed.
Which events are enabled, and what each message says, are configured by Pomatio rather than by you. There is no notification preference screen in your account.
The language they arrive in
Messages addressed to you use your own language preference — the language set on your user account — not the language of the site or of whoever triggered the message.
So a partner whose account is set to Spanish receives Spanish notifications even when the underlying sale happened in another language.
To change the language you receive, change the language on your user account.
If your account is not linked to a user with a language preference, messages fall back to the site's language.
Messages that go to Pomatio staff
Some notifications are addressed to Pomatio administrators rather than to partners. Those use the account site's own language, because a single message may go to several people who do not share one.
You do not receive those, and their language has nothing to do with your preference.
What the messages contain
The details of the event: your name, the commission amounts, the relevant order or subscription references, and links back into your account.
Those values are inserted after the message is translated, so your name, the amounts and the links are always the real ones and are never affected by translation.
Links in the messages
Every message links back to your account. Follow the link rather than bookmarking a page deep in the area — links from the messages always point at the right place, even if an address changes.
What Pomatio will never send you
- Your license key.
- A password, or a request for one.
- A payment form. Pomatio does not ask for bank details by email in a notification.
Treat any message asking for those as suspicious, whatever it looks like, and check your account directly instead.
If you are not receiving them
- Check your spam folder.
- Confirm the email address on your account is the one you read.
- Confirm your user account is linked to your partner record — if My partner commissions does not appear in your account menu, it is not.
If all three are in order and messages still do not arrive, contact Pomatio: message delivery is on Pomatio's side, not yours.
