Your product licenses

The first section of Licenses & Downloads: one card for every plugin and theme you own.

What you see

Each card carries the product name, a small label saying whether it is a theme or a plugin, and a status badge. Below that are the license details, the key, the activated domains, your download allowance and the actions.

Cards appear for products you have a license for. If you own none, the section reads You have no product licenses yet.

One card per license, not per site

A license covers however many sites your plan allows. Five sites running the same product show as one card with five domains — not five cards.

If you bought the same product twice, you have two licenses and two cards, each with its own key and its own domain allowance.

Why a product might be missing

In order of likelihood:

  1. The order has not been paid yet. A pending or on-hold order grants nothing.
  2. You are signed in with a different account from the one you bought with.
  3. The subscription lapsed, and the license is no longer active.
  4. The purchase was refunded or cancelled.

Check Orders first. It answers the first and the fourth immediately.

The status badge

The badge shows the license state — active, expired, revoked, blocked, suspended or pending. Only an active license validates on your sites.

See License status and renewals for what each state means and how to get back to active.

Themes and plugins behave the same

The theme or plugin label tells you where the product is installed on your site. Licensing, domains, downloads and updates work identically for both.

What the card cannot tell you

  • Which version each of your sites is running. The card shows the latest version Pomatio has published, not what you installed.
  • Whether the product is actually active on a domain. A domain in the list activated at some point; it may since have been disabled on the site itself.
  • Anything about your site's content.

Keeping the list tidy

Two habits worth having:

  • Remove domains you no longer use. Sites you decommissioned still hold slots.
  • Check the list after building staging sites. Development and staging copies commonly consume the allowance nobody remembered to count.
