Your account credit balance

The Your account credits card: what you can spend right now, and where it comes from.

Available now

The large figure at the top of the card is your usable balance — every active credit batch, added together, minus what has been spent.

Below it, the card states the rule that governs everything else in this chapter:

Credits are deducted directly from your account whenever a connected domain uses POM AI. Set domain limits if you want to control how many credits a domain can spend.

One balance, many sites

Every authorized domain spends from this same figure. There is no per-site wallet, and no reservation.

The consequence is worth stating plainly: one busy site can consume the whole balance, leaving the others with nothing. That is not a fault — it is what a shared balance means — and it is why domain spending limits exist.

Where the balance comes from

Below the headline figure, the card breaks it down:

  • Subscription credits — batches granted by your plan, each showing what remains and when it expires. If there are none active, the card says so.
  • Top-up credit batches — batches you bought, each numbered, with its order, what remains, when it was added and when it expires.

The batches are the truth; the headline figure is their sum.

The spending order

When a site uses POM AI:

  1. Subscription credits are used first, before top-ups.
  2. Within each kind, the batch expiring soonest goes first.

That ordering protects the credits you paid for separately: your top-ups stay untouched until the subscription's own allowance is gone.

The balance can drop without you doing anything

Two ways:

  • A site spent credits. Check the usage logs.
  • A batch expired. Expired credits leave the balance whether they were used or not.

If a drop surprises you, the usage logs distinguish the two: spending appears there, expiry does not.

Nothing in the account costs credits

Viewing your balance, adding a domain, setting a limit and reading the logs are all free. Credits are only consumed by AI work on your sites.

Running out

When the balance reaches zero, sites stop being able to perform AI operations. Nothing else changes — the plugin keeps working, and content already generated is unaffected.

Buy a top-up, or wait for the next subscription grant.
