What your Pomatio account is

One place that holds everything you have bought from Pomatio, and the controls that go with it.

What it holds

Area What it is for
Orders Your purchase history and invoices
Subscriptions What renews, when, and how it is paid
Licenses & Downloads Your product licenses, their sites and their files
POM AI Management Your AI credit balance, authorized domains and usage
My partner commissions For partners only: referrals and earnings

The first two are standard shop areas. The last three are what makes this an account rather than a receipt archive.

What a license actually does

When you buy a plugin or a theme, you get a license key. That key is what your site shows Pomatio when it asks two questions:

  • Am I allowed to run this product?
  • Is there a newer version?

The key is entered once on each site. From then on the site checks in on its own, and updates arrive through the normal WordPress updates screen.

Your account is where you see which sites are using the key, and where you take it back if you need to.

What a service is

Some Pomatio products are not files you install but services Pomatio runs for you. They appear in the same place as your licenses, under Your services, with their own plan and renewal date.

The practical difference: a product license authorizes installed software and its updates, while a service runs on Pomatio infrastructure. A service has no ZIP to download; its separate activation key only links the subscription to one numeric network site ID.

What credits are

POM AI works on credits. You get them from a subscription, or by buying a top-up, and they are spent when a site you have authorized uses an AI feature.

Credits belong to your account, not to a site. Several sites can draw on one balance, which is convenient and worth controlling — hence the per-domain spending limits.

What the account does not do

Worth being clear about:

  • It does not install anything for you. You install products on your own sites.
  • It does not host your site unless you bought a hosted service.
  • It does not back up your site.
  • It cannot see inside your sites. Pomatio knows a domain has activated a license; it does not read your content.

Access and privacy

Everything in the account is per user. You see only your own licenses, credits and commissions, and every action that matters — revealing a key, rotating it, deactivating a domain — is available only to the account that owns the license.

Do not share account credentials or forward full license keys. Keep one accountable owner for the purchasing account and use only an approved access arrangement when another person must perform account work. A key that circulates by email should be treated as exposed and rotated after every legitimate site is ready for the change.
