Link a service to a network site
Pomatio, Fenómenus, and Pomatio Video Hosting subscriptions must be linked to the network site that will use them. The link uses the site's numeric ID, so a later domain change does not interrupt the service.
Before you start
- The subscription must appear as active under Account → Licenses & Downloads.
- You must be an administrator on the destination site.
- Choose the destination carefully. After activation, customers cannot move the subscription to another site.
Copy the activation key
- Sign in at
account.pom.eswith the account that bought the subscription. - Open Licenses & Downloads.
- Find the service under Your services.
- Select Reveal activation key, then Copy.
This key only links the hosted service. It does not authorize plugin downloads, updates, or domains.
Link Pomatio or Pomatio Video Hosting
- Open the administration area of the destination network site.
- Go to Settings → Pomatio.
- Select Pomatio or Pomatio Video Hosting.
- Paste the activation key.
- Select Link subscription to this site.
Link Fenómenus
- Open the administration area of the restaurant site.
- Go to Settings → Restaurant settings.
- Open Restaurant setup → Fenómenus subscription.
- Paste the activation key.
- Select Link subscription to this site.
Expected result
The settings panel becomes read-only and shows the plan, service status, numeric network site ID, and current site URL. The account service card also shows the linked site.
Important limit
There is no customer-facing unlink or replace action. This prevents a service subscription from being moved between sites after setup. Contact Pomatio support if an administrative correction or a supported reassignment is required. Moving Pomatio Video Hosting does not copy or merge libraries automatically; agree the destination and any required export with support before the change.
Ending an underlying Pomatio site service can also make its linked Video Hosting integration unusable on that site. Before cancelling either service, request the Video Hosting export and choose with support whether the dependent subscription should end or be reassigned to another compatible Pomatio-managed site. The normal Video Hosting grace, retrieval, and deletion periods still apply.
Troubleshooting
- The key is rejected: confirm that you copied the activation key from the matching service card, not a WordPress product license key.
- The subscription is inactive: review its payment and renewal state under Subscriptions in your account.
- The service is already linked: open its settings on the original site or contact Pomatio support. A customer cannot move it.
- The URL changed: no action is required. The service follows the numeric site ID, not the displayed URL.
