My account settings

The Account section of Settings → POM LMS: the My courses area, the login form defaults, and the completion mode.

The endpoint

Field Effect
Section name The entry's label in the account menu
Custom slug The URL segment for the endpoint
Custom label The heading of the course column in the table
"No courses found" default text What a student with no courses reads

The endpoint is inserted into the WooCommerce account menu after its first entry, and it requires WooCommerce.

After changing the slug, re-save the permalink settings — open Settings → Permalinks and save without changing anything. Otherwise the endpoint returns not found.

Section name and Custom label are translatable, so a Spanish site can show Mis cursos and a column headed Formación.

See My courses and The empty My courses message.

The login form

Three fields shape the login form shown to signed-out visitors on gated courses and lessons:

Field Effect
Login form prepend Text above the form
Login form error message Shown when the sign-in fails
Content if logged in Shown in place of the form to a signed-in visitor

Content if logged in accepts merge tags:

Tag Replaced with
{user_name} The student's first name
{user_last_name} Their last name
{user_email} Their email address
{logout_link} A sign-out link
{my_account_link} A link to the account area

That message matters more than it looks. It is what a signed-in student sees when they are on the right site with the wrong account — and {logout_link} next to {user_email} lets them see the mistake and fix it in one click:

You are signed in as {user_email}. If you bought this course with a different address, {logout_link} and sign in again.

These defaults apply wherever a course does not define its own login form. See The custom login form.

The completion mode

Lessons manual check — the checkbox reads Lessons have to be marked as completed manually.

State Behavior
Off (default) Opening a lesson marks it complete
On Students tick lessons in the outline

Site-wide, with no per-course override, and it changes what every percentage on the site means. Decide it before students start: see Automatic and manual completion.

Switching it later does not recalculate anything. Existing completions stay as they are.

Without WooCommerce

No account area exists, so the endpoint fields do nothing. The login form fields and the completion mode still work, because they are not tied to WooCommerce.

A site without WooCommerce needs its own route back into courses — a menu link to a catalogue page, and course links in whatever you send students.

Verify

  1. Set the endpoint fields and save; re-save the permalink settings if you changed the slug.
  2. Sign in as a test student and confirm the entry's name, URL and column heading.
  3. Sign in as an account with no courses and confirm the empty message.
  4. Sign out, open a gated course, and confirm the login form text.
  5. Sign in as a student without access and confirm the logged-in message, with the merge tags resolved.
  6. Confirm the completion mode behaves as you set it.
