Customize the stylesheet

Go to Settings → POM Theme → Advanced → Custom CSS, expand Shortcode CSS assets, and open Testimonial. The comparison shows the readable CSS generated by the current theme beside the editable source. Saving creates an optimized per-site replacement for the existing web-testimonial stylesheet; reverting restores the current testimonial.min.css asset.

The replacement changes CSS only. Both the shortcode and Gutenberg Testimonial use the same component classes and renderer. Portraits are semantic images with current library dimensions and responsive sources, using the theme image-loading policy. The existing web-testimonial-photo selector controls their cropping and geometry. Quote content lives in div.web-testimonial-body; shortcode names and sources retain safe inline links and formatting, while the Gutenberg fields remain plain text. Nested shortcode media, icons and controls keep their generated markup. Executable authored markup and unsafe links are rejected. Review custom replacements against those selectors. Pages without Testimonial content load no Testimonial stylesheet, and the module has no dedicated JavaScript.

The portrait is optional; unused portrait spacing is removed. Missing library images are omitted, and a completely empty testimonial produces no visible markup. Style 1 hides its portrait below 576px. Use the Gutenberg Testimonial block for inline editing.

Verification

Verify web_testimonial with representative content, its empty state and every enabled responsive range. Check all three testimonial_style variants, both testimonial_name_position values for style 2, the portrait image, and the author/source order. After editing the stylesheet, confirm that a page containing the shortcode uses the managed CSS while a page without it still loads no Testimonial asset.
