web_finder_content_date_field Shortcode

The web_finder_content_date_field shortcode adds the booking-oriented date picker to a legacy Finder. Rendering it requests the theme's date-picker assets and binds the control to the active Finder instance.

The attributes below match the current Page Builder controls and public output. Use raw syntax only for reviewed content that cannot be maintained through the visual controls.

Allowed parent shortcodes: web_finder_column.

Usage

[web_finder_content_date_field]

Attributes

Attribute Default Accepted values Purpose
label — Plain text Provides the visible name of the date input.
placeholder — Plain text Adds a short date hint inside an empty input.
class — CSS class list Adds existing helpers to the input; the renderer supplies standard form and picker classes.

Finder composition

Place the field directly inside web_finder_column. It is a dedicated booking-date control; use web_finder_content_meta_key_field with date format when the query must target a specific custom field instead.

Verification

Open the picker with pointer and keyboard input, select a date and submit the Finder. The picker uses ISO dates (YYYY-MM-DD); submitted DD/MM/YYYY values are also accepted. Input IDs are unique to the form and are not configurable.

This control requires active Bookings support and a product query. It matches explicit bookable custom date ranges, not complete resource/capacity availability. Matching products are read in batches of 200, preserving the complete saved query and all authored availability ranges. Use the dedicated Bookings Finder when reservation availability is required.

For native authoring and shared limits, see Build a Finder. Use the containing Column or Finder for responsive visibility.
