web_form Shortcode
The web_form shortcode renders a saved POM form by its post ID.
Usage
[web_form id="123"]
Replace 123 with the ID of an active, published POM form. Missing, inactive, unpublished and password-protected forms render nothing.
Attributes
| Attribute | Default | Accepted values | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|

Published POM form post ID | Selects the form to render. A missing or unpublished ID cannot display a usable form. |
Before using the shortcode
- Enable POM Forms under Settings → POM Theme → Forms → General.
- Create and publish the form under Forms.
- Copy its numeric ID.
- Add the shortcode to trusted content.
- Test a signed-out submission.
For normal page editing, add POM Form in Gutenberg or the Legacy visual builder and choose the form from its selector. The Gutenberg block stores the selected ID, not a copy of the fields. Both representations use the current shared form and its conditional assets; no Legacy editor is required on the frontend. Clear cached pages after shared form changes when needed.
Verification
Test web_form in its relevant logged-in and logged-out states, including validation, success and error feedback. Pay particular attention to id.
