Faceted search context
Enable and configure Faceted Search in Settings → POM Theme → Content model → Faceted search. Use one interactive context per page with matching results. Missing or disabled explicit contexts render nothing. With the feature disabled, the shortcode also renders nothing. Page Builder administration may remain disabled.
The results listing owns the manual/automatic submission policy. Submit forces an immediate refresh in either mode; it does not change that policy. It preserves URL-only filters and unrelated URL arguments, and restarts ordinary and split pagination. The output is a native type="button" with the existing web-btn helpers, not a form submit action.
Several matching controls share the same search. During a request they expose busy/disabled accessibility states and ignore repeated activation while retaining focus. On failure an accessible message appears and the pending filters can be retried. Hidden, disabled or foreign-context controls do not submit.
Verification
Test with active and pending selections, URL-only filters, no selections and an empty result set. Check keyboard activation, repeated clicks, retry after a failed request and coexistence with Reset. Confirm the first result page appears after submission.
In Gutenberg, use Faceted Search Submit for the same rendering and behavior with native editing controls.
