web_logo Shortcode

The web_logo shortcode renders the logo component.

The attributes below match the current Page Builder controls and public output. Use raw syntax only for reviewed content that cannot be maintained through the visual controls.

Usage

[web_logo]

Attributes

Attribute Default Accepted values Purpose
logo_version — The source logo URL selected from POM Header colors Uses the selected image URL at both desktop and mobile widths, retaining the Legacy selection behavior. Matching configuration dimensions are used when available.
device_visibility — Supported POM responsive visibility class Applies the selected responsive visibility rule.
el_class — Space-separated CSS classes Adds custom classes to the logo link.

With no logo_version, the shortcode uses the desktop and mobile assets from Settings → POM Theme → Design system → Brand. A selected version uses the matching alternative configuration. If only one image is available, it is used at every width. The link target, optional site title, optional description, SVG rendering mode, and accessible image text continue to follow the Brand settings.

Use a configured builder option rather than pasting an arbitrary URL. Legacy content stores the selected URL: if that URL changes in Header colors, reselect the version in the shortcode. The Gutenberg Site Logo block instead stores the configuration's identity and follows subsequent URL changes automatically.

Inline SVG mode uses only bounded, readable local passive artwork. Files with embedded CSS or interactive content, remote SVG and unavailable inline files use an ordinary image instead. Configured dimensions are retained; missing geometry is read locally without remote server requests. Image loading follows the theme setting. No component-specific script or stylesheet is loaded. With no configured image or visible title/description, the output is empty rather than an unnamed empty link.

Verification

The link's accessible name uses Settings → General → Site Title, with the tagline and translated “Home” as fallbacks. Inspect the link with an empty tagline and an inline SVG logo: its name should still identify the site.

Verify web_logo with representative content, its empty state and every enabled responsive range. Pay particular attention to logo_version.
