web_fullcalendar Shortcode

The web_fullcalendar shortcode displays live bookable-product availability in month, week or day view. It requires WooCommerce Bookings. Page Builder provides searchable term controls for public product taxonomies, without loading the entire catalog into the editor.

The attributes below match the current Page Builder controls and public output. Use raw syntax only for reviewed content that cannot be maintained through the visual controls.

Usage

[web_fullcalendar]

Attributes

Attribute Default Accepted values Purpose
view month month, agendaWeek, agendaDay Controls the initial view. Canonical dayGridMonth, timeGridWeek, timeGridDay and older basicWeek/basicDay aliases are also accepted.
<product-taxonomy-slug> — Comma-separated term slugs Filters by a public product taxonomy. Internal type, visibility and shipping-class taxonomies are excluded. Empty means no filter. Any term within a taxonomy matches; different taxonomies must all match.
device_visibility — Space-separated web-hide-on-xs, web-hide-on-sm, web-hide-on-md, web-hide-on-lg Applies the theme's responsive visibility helpers.
el_id — Valid unique HTML ID Assigns an ID to the calendar wrapper.
el_class — Space-separated CSS class names Adds custom classes to the calendar wrapper.

Customize the stylesheet

Administrators can replace the FullCalendar stylesheet under Settings → POM Theme → Advanced → Custom CSS → Shortcode CSS assets → FullCalendar. Saving publishes an optimized per-site copy without adding the stylesheet to unrelated pages. Reverting returns the existing web-fullcalendar handle to the current fullcalendar.min.css supplied by the theme. Both authoring paths use this handle and the existing web_fullcalendar script with its web-theme-js dependency.

Availability and limits

Public requests cover at most 62 days and process the complete matching catalogue in batches. Editor previews retain a 50-product and 2,000 candidate/resource/day work limit, with up to 50 resources and person types per product; narrower filters or Week/Day can reduce preview work. Each taxonomy accepts up to 50 terms; up to 20 taxonomies are supported. Products must be published, visible, not password-protected and permitted for the current visitor. Times use the site's time zone. Timed events preserve their hours; whole-day events use an exclusive end date. Slots must satisfy the native booking form rules for a complete minimum-duration booking and the smallest permitted party.

The legacy categories attribute has no effect; use the explicit product_cat attribute with category slugs. The calendar does not create bookings and its overview is not a reservation guarantee.

Verification

Preview the page and confirm that the requested initial view loads. If taxonomy filters are selected, verify that the calendar receives only matching product events; clear each filter in Page Builder to confirm that the corresponding taxonomy no longer restricts the results.

See FullCalendar authoring and troubleshooting for the native block, inactive-integration messages and date navigation.
