Before you begin
Administrators, Editors and Shop managers can open and save Settings → General settings. Editors and Shop managers do not need additional profile flags for this screen. Editing the additional user-profile fields requires the actual Administrator role or network super-administrator access. In multisite, confirm that you are working in the intended site's dashboard. Placing a shortcode additionally requires permission to edit its target page, post, widget or builder field.
Recommended path
- Configure the site's identity, visibility, language, timezone and content defaults.
- Enter and verify the legal and fiscal details.
- Add the required shortcodes to the relevant legal pages or templates.
- View the public result and check each rendered sentence.
- Verify legacy Text widgets after adding or changing embedded HTML.
