Inmotek Feed Template Merge Tags
Inmotek custom templates are used to render real estate properties in listing contexts, advanced finder results, promotion loops, and custom single layouts. They are configured in the Inmotek settings and selected from the relevant Customizer/settings controls.
Common flow:
- Go to the Inmotek settings area.
- Create a custom feed template in the custom templates repeater.
- Select the custom template in the property list, finder, promotion, or single template setting.
- Use the merge tags below inside the HTML template.
Advanced Finder Result Pages
Listing and finder output uses POM Theme's rem spacing helpers, such as mb-2 (2rem), rather than pixel-named helpers. Upgrade the plugin and theme together. For saved custom template copies, review POM Theme's wp pom migrate-spacing-helpers --dry-run report before applying the matching spacing migration; arbitrary layout declarations are not converted to presets.
The advanced finder displays up to 30 property results per page. The same limit applies to the initial results and to results refreshed after changing filters or moving between pages.
When Inmotek returns smaller batches, the finder combines consecutive batches to fill the page. For an unchanged search containing 99 results, the four pages contain 30, 30, 30 and 9 results, in the provider's selected order.
Page links preserve the search filters and use the pg URL parameter. After moving to another page, you can copy its URL, reload it or open a page link in a new tab. Browser Back and Forward restore the corresponding search page by reloading it. Changing a filter starts again at page 1.
If a request cannot complete a page, the finder displays a retry message. During an AJAX refresh, the previous results remain visible until a complete response is available. Retry the page or filter change after the connection is restored. Property availability and ordering can change between searches as Inmotek updates its catalog.
Filtered results retain the selected property or promotion mode when refreshed. When no results are available, the built-in Inmotek listing shows its no-results message. The simple finder supports a single available property type as well as multiple types.
For custom choices in Type field options, enter one value|Label pair per line, for example Piso,Chalet|Homes or local|Commercial premises. Commas within a value group several property types into one choice. Values retain their original spelling and labels support translatable strings. Editor line breaks and paragraphs separate choices; HTML formatting is removed from values and displayed labels. Leaving this field empty uses the property types supplied by Inmotek.
The standard filter panel uses level-two headings (h2) for its widget titles, including search, location, property type, rooms, bathrooms, price, and surface area. Visitors using heading navigation can move directly between these filter groups.
Merge Tag Syntax
A merge tag uses double braces:
{{tag_name attribute="value"}}
Examples:
{{title}}
{{price}}
{{url}}
{{gallery style="grid"}}
Attribute Quoting Formats
Attributes can be written with double quotes, single quotes, no quotes, or literal delimiters:
{{contact_modal label="Ask us about this property"}}
{{contact_modal label='Ask us about this property'}}
{{map zoom=12}}
{{contact_modal label=%%Ask us about this property%%}}
Use %%...%% for labels, fallbacks, long text, text with quotes, and nested translatable strings:
{{contact_modal label={{translatable_string text=%%Ask us about this property%%}}}}
{{video fallback=%%No video is available for this property.%%}}
If the literal text must contain the %% characters, escape them as \%%.
The legacy quoted format is still supported, but %%...%% is recommended for new content.
Nested Translatable Strings
{{translatable_string}} can be used inside any Inmotek merge tag attribute that accepts text:
{{contact_modal label={{translatable_string text=%%More information%%}}}}
{{parking fallback={{translatable_string text=%%Parking information is not available.%%}}}}
It can also be used inside shortcode attributes:
[web_offcanvas_content title="{{translatable_string text=%%Property filters%%}}"]
Prefer literal delimiters to avoid quoting conflicts:
{{translatable_string text=%%Property filters%%}}
Basic Property Tags

{{operation}} |

{{date_updated}} |

When a property's operation codes are a and t, in either order and without additional operation codes, its default operation label is Temporary rental (ALQUILER TEMPORAL in Spanish). The same label is used by built-in property pages, listings, sliders, property PDFs, and {{operation}}. Other operation combinations keep their existing labels. Prices and billing periods are unchanged.
Customize the temporary rental label
Site owners and editors who can access the Inmotek settings can choose the wording for this operation combination:
- Open Settings → POM Inmotek → General in the site's WordPress dashboard.
- Find Temporary / holiday rental label in the Inmotek settings.
- Enter the text to display, such as Temporary rental, Holiday rental, or Seasonal rental.
- Save the settings and open a matching property page or listing to verify the label.
The field accepts plain text and preserves the entered capitalization. Each site stores its own label, including sites in a multisite network. Leave the field empty to use the translated default label. If a change is not visible, refresh any page cache and confirm that the property has the matching operation combination. Custom templates must use {{operation}} to display this setting; fixed text in a template remains unchanged.

Media Tags
Remote image URLs supplied by Inmotek use explicit https:// URLs, including thumbnails, gallery sizes, full-size photos, floor plans, and panoramic images. This also applies to built-in listings and property pages, {{featured_image}}, gallery merge tags, sharing metadata, and image downloads for property PDFs. HTTP and protocol-relative image URLs from the feed are converted to HTTPS; the image host, path, and query parameters are preserved.

</div>
</article>
Example Promotion Card
<article class="promotion-card">
<a href="{{promotion_url}}">
<img src="{{featured_image}}" alt="{{title}}">
</a>
<div class="promotion-body">
<h3><a href="{{promotion_url}}">{{title}}</a></h3>
<p>{{developer_name}}</p>
<p>{{promotion_localidad}}, {{promotion_provincia}}</p>
<strong>{{promotion_price_range}}</strong>
</div>
</article>
Practical Notes
- Use
%%...%%for labels and fallback messages. - Prefer nested
{{translatable_string}}for any admin-entered text that should be translated. - Use fallback attributes for media fields that may not exist on every property.
- Keep property card templates resilient: avoid empty wrappers by using fallbacks or conditional CSS where the renderer returns empty output.
Native property links
When native property pages are enabled, property URL merge tags link to the corresponding WordPress record. Existing tags and stored templates do not need renaming. Search results still come from Inmotek.
